Hanney encourages businesses at luncheon

Our June networking luncheon featured James Hanney of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority.  During his presentation, Mr. Hanney encouraged attendees to do business with his organization through their vendor registration and bidding process.

"These projects are mini cities and require a wide array of services and products"

There are multiple level of projects and scopes and each has it’s own process of requesting bids, reviewing qualifications and awarding contracts.   All of this is managed through their web site at https://www.tampaairport.com/planned-procurement-opportunities.  His presentation included many of the steps necessary prior to bidding which included registering your business, getting certification of MBE status to name just a few.   And while there might seem like a lot of steps in the process the outcome could be well worth it to your company.
